The Houston Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (HBIDA) presents its 2003 Pathways to Potential IX Fall Workshop on Saturday, September 20, 2003. 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the J.W. Marriott Hotel by the Galleria, 5150 Westheimer (@ Sage) in Houston, TX.

Effective Classrooms: Lessons from Neuroscience, presented by Gordon Sherman, Ph.D., and Deardre Rosenberg, M.S., Executive Director and Director of Outreach respectively of the Newgrange School and Educational Outreach Center in Princeton, NJ. Dr. Sherman and Ms. Rosenberg will educate the audience in the latest in brain based research and developmental dyslexia, and translate the data into effective educational practices for parents, teachers and other education professionals.

$75 for IDA members, $95 for non-members.
Free parking available. Registration fee includes full day workshop, lunch, all workshop materials and a copy of the HBIDA 2003 Resource Directory.
ALTA and TSHA credits available for extra charge.
