Looking for psychologists to test children diagnosed w/an LD

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

My name is Jennifer Lucek and I work in the Clinical Sampling department at an internationally known publisher of intelligence tests for children.

Currently we are in the standardization phase of a children’s intelligence test. The standardization phase is the final phase before publication.

We are looking for various professionals such as Clinical or School Psychologists, Psychometrists, Neuropsychologists, Educational Diagnosticians, and Supervised Students or Interns who have successfully completed a master’s course in Assessment to help us “test the test”. We ask our participants to test children from various backgrounds and clinical diagnoses to ensure that the test has full representation of the national demographics.

Currently, we are asking that participants test children between the ages of 8 and 12 who have been diagnosed as having a Learning Disability (Reading or Math or Reading & Writing combo or Reading & Writing & Math Combo). Both the Examiner and child will each receive compensation for each test that is administered.

Testing on this project will continue through the summer of 2002. Please respond if you would be interested in helping us collect this important data. I can provide you with further information as well as the compensation rates. If you are unable to participate at this time, I would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this to a colleague who may be interested.

Thank you for your assistance!

Sincerely,

Jennifer
