This workshop is designed for teachers of grades 3 through adult, reading specialists, special educators, tutors, and interested parents.

Project Read® Report Form teaches students to analyze the underlying structure of expository text. The teaching approach is direct concept instruction using multi-sensory strategies and materials. It teaches a process of analyzing the underlying structure of non-fiction text and is presented in a sequential, dependent order of concepts and skills. This process transfers to other curriculum areas to give the student a level of language independence. Through participation in class activities, teachers will develop an understanding of how theory translates into practice in the classroom.

Fee: $515, includes 3 volume set of Report Form Guides, handouts, and refreshments
