Many community colleges are developing reasonable to good support systems.

Also try Beacon College in Florida (an exclusively LD school).

If you look at the publications of LD groups like the IDA there are ads for schools and programs including ones that include a higher level of intervention for developing job and social and living skills.

Years ago the Univ of Bridgeport in Conn had a program called basic studies. It was a great program with tons of support.

Peterson’s Guide to Colleges and Universities for LD Individuals describes the support programs and services through Offices for Specail Students at the collegs and univesites trhoughout the USA state by state and city by city. It will also tell you how may Ld Students they currently have enrolled. Ther are other resorces such as KP or KG’s guide to Colllesge for Individuals with LD. The best way to locate all the source is to go to either Amazon. Com or Barnes and Nobles. Com and type in College Programs for Students With Ld and you can find out all the guides that exist for that category.

Did you compile a list?

LD online also has some info. In Rochester, NY. The Norman Howard School is terrific. There is also Hope Hall. What about the San Francisco area. I know somebody looking for a school for her 5th grader.
