I am very interested in your pen pal request. Are the ages of my students too young for your purposes? All of my students also have low literacy skills. (I won’t be offended if you think they are too young.)We also have a high school program within the same school. I can’t speak for these teachers, but perhaps the ages are more appropriate for you. Let me back up. We are a school for severely learning disabled students and our grades range from 6 to 10. We have an elementary panel and a secondary panel. I won’t pursue this further until I hear back from you. Perhaps you already have your pen pals.
