Can anyone help? I’m looking for writing paper for a child with fine motor difficulties. I have seen paper (thick stock) with raised lines instead of colored/dashes. so there is a physical barrier to cross if the child goes over the line. Any resource ideas?
Thanks!
Re: Resource for special writing paper
Dear Joyce:
Great timing. Just got my copy of Pro-Ed catalog last week. The paper you want is called “Right-line Paper”. The descriptions states: “has a raised line supperimposed on the printed line. The printed line is green to distinguish it from pencil or pen marks” It comes in narrow and wide ruled. The “wide-rule paper has a dashed line between each raised line to be used as a guide for letter formation.” Narrow Rule: #3113, Wide Rule: #3114.
There is also “Stop-Go Right-Line” paper. The description states: “The red line is raised to allow the writer to see as well as feel the base and top lines.”
