A way to stay home with our kids!!

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I have a son with ADD, CAPD, and several learning disabilities so I know how important it is that we have the time to be home with our kids. I have looked for a way to do that for a long time and finally found one. I don’t want to offend anyone by talking about this on this board. I’m just so excited about getting to stay home and wanted to share the chance with other moms of special kids like I have. We live on a ranch in a rural area and I was worried about how he would do in this small school, but I’m convinced God sent us here just for him. He’s in a regular class, but since the school’s so small his class is only 13 kids!! And the special ed teacher is wonderful!! We’re so blessed. Hope you all have a great day! Love those special kids!!

I also have three special needs children and my husband is finding it hard to stay ontop of the bills. Obviously i have to be home but if there was a way for me to work from home and relieve some of the stress for him so he to could spend more time with them i would love to hear it.

I am interested in what you have to say. I have three children that have needs. And we have a limited income, it seems the more money my husband makes the more money are putting out. The public school system is no help, they are so outlandish to put it litely!!!

I am interested in hearing how to stay home. I have a son who is 13 years old. He is on about a 2.5 grade level in school. I would love to teach him at home. However, I am a single mother, so, I have to work to pay the bills.

Ann and Sally,

Thanks so much for contacting me. I’ve sent you both emails telling you a little more of what I do. I’m so excited. My business is really starting to take off and I can see a solid future in it. I feel good being part of a business where I feel confident of their honesty and integrity. This really is an answer to my prayers.

Take care,
Sandy

If she can’t say what sort of business or scheme it is and you can do this with no skills, license, or training, it’s likely an illegal Ponzi scheme or something like Amway or Mary Kay or Avon. You’d be better off putting your $ in a mayonaise jar and burying it in your backyard.

Sandy -

I would love to hear how you are balancing work and family from home. If this is tupperware or some kind of in-home party plan I will pass.
