Hi I’m new to this group, but everyone seems to have such wonderful and caring questions and answers. I’m hoping someone here can tell me where to find my answers. My daughter is in the fourth grade. She is having a terrible time. She is on an IEP, but I know she would do better (dealing with anxiety and more) if I homeschool her. She does not have ADHD. She has high functioning autism. She is in fourth grade but has a first grade reading level. What I need to know is where I can find the laws on homeschooling a child on an IEP. I know this can vary from state to state so I should also say I live in Ohio. I have tried doing a google search, but just can’t find what I am looking for.

Go to the Ohio State Education Department. They should have all the laws on their website. They will also have phone numbers or emails for you to ask questions and get answers.
