First, don’t assume the child is not going to improve. Second, make sure you are working with the parent, child and learning support specialist. Follow the IEP and accommodations. Work as a team player. BE supportive.

IF the child is not improving, work with the learning specialist at your school and the parents to figure out WHY. It can take trial and error to figure out what works best for a child with LD.
