Yes, I watched it, and I felt that they didn’t give a lot of information. I found the excercise where the child drew on the hinged chalk board quite interesting.

I find that to be true about most things I see about LD. I don’t know what I’m really expecting from these but its definitely not fulfilling, always come away disappointed. Maybe those writing or producing the generic spots on TV do not have first hand experience?, I don’t know.

I think they tend to do the sound byte overview. MOst people don’t have firsthand experience. Even if you do, trying to condense your experience so that it means something to people who don’t can be hard — and let’s just toss in that there are so many different experiences with LDs that there’s no way to condense them into one.
Did you watch it? I wasnt impressed.
