: outburst of fustration in the past 2 hours. Why not follow the doctor’s advice and give it until Monday? If you still don’t like what you see, call the doctor and share that. If you’re uncomfortable, call him as soon as possible and tell him you’re having trouble waiting until Monday and ask him again why he/she recommends that.

Stomach ache is one of the adverse reactions some people have to adderall and you should discuss it with your doctor. Appetite supression is a side effect of adderall that is common and is not usually regarded as a reason to discontinue the drug. Sara’s suggestion that you call the doctor if you are getting really worried sounds like a good one to me. Maybe 10 mg is too high a dose, or maybe your son is one the kids who don’t respond well to stimulant medications.Andrea

I have found with my son that if he does not take his Adderall the MINUTE he wakes up, and with his breakfast, he might as well not have it at all. If he takes it even 15 minutes after waking, he has an opportunity to get hyper and then the meds just make it worse. Taking it on an empty stomach does cause stomach aches. He takes it after he eats his lunch at school. Most docs put you on a time schedule and I have found that this does not work for us. Maybe this may be of help for you.

: outburst of fustration in the past 2 hours. After another morning of him being unsteady and almost faling intothe wall at school.Other teachers even notice something was wrong .He seems to be back to himself after the adderall wears off in 4 to 5 hours after taking it.The psychartist now but him on Wellbutrin SR 100mg 1x a day.he did say that my son must not do well on stimulants since he had adverse reactions to both adderall and ritalin.Has anyone had good results on wellbutrin?
