I would like to sing the praises of a summer camp we found for our ADHD/LD child last summer. It is called SOAR (Sucess Oriented Acheivement Realized)and I can’t say enough good things about their program. My son had never had a positive camp experience prior to attending SOAR. The staff totally understand the challenges faced by these kids and help them to focus on their abilities and strengths. SOAR did more for my child’s self acceptance and self esteem in one session than we (and a few therapists) had been able to do in a few years! I highly recommend them!!!!!
