I need some input. My daughter has been diagnosed as SLD since third grade. Her weaknesses were in reading and writing with a strength in math. Now she is a sixth grader, after testing she is now being labeled as OHI(Other Health Impediments) not comfortable because I never heard of it. But basically now the concensus is her ADHD is the main difficulty with her learning potential even though now her reading comprehension is a strength and her math skills is low(she mades b’s in math for 3, 4, and 5th grade. My question is what is OHI and how and what kind of settings and modification do they consider for her?
