This is my second child with a language processing disorder and another possible deficit, her teacher agrees that testing needs to be done and is very supportive. Does a child study have to be done before I can request a PPT meeting? (We live in Connecticut.) Last time we initiated the process, we were told that a child study had to be done first. Is it 40 school days from date of PPT that the testing has to be completed and the follow-up PPT held? Thank you in advance.
