free children's stories for anger/impulse control

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Hi, I’d like to share two free children’s stories I have: “Frederick the Fidgety Fire Truck” and “Arthur the Angry Engine” with parents to try and help build a foundation to deal with anger/self-regulation issues using concrete strategies. These free stories are housed on my family website: www.thewhisperersaga.com (created for another project) and can be accessed by clicking on “click here” for free children’s stories on the main page. Then these stories will be e-mailed to you. I hope some parents find them helpful. Have a great day.

JTropilo-thanks for keeping an eye out for spam on the forums.

In this case the items being shared are free and they provide strategies for dealing with functional behaviors — which many parents of students with LDs may appreciate.
