IEP Testing

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

My 14 year old daughter just had her CST evaluation. The tests used were WISC IV,(Verbal Comprehension (93-32%), Perceptual Reasoning Scales 86, 18%, Working Memory Scales 94, 34% and Processing Speed Scales, 73, 4%). Her Full Scale IQ came to 83 (13th%). We are concerned about her poor scores, but also attribute them to the fact that she is ADD/ADHD, Auditory Processing Issues, and according to the tests Visual Processing Issues). Due to her poor scores, should we be asking for Resource room or additional academic help? She is in 8th grade and has done good to average work, but is now experiencing difficulty and now she is entering high school we are even more concerned. We do have her in private tutoring 3 hours a week. She will have an IEP but most of the accomodations are related to ADHD issues. What else should we ask for as far as academic help?
Thanks

Could anyone help with advice?
