"Invisible Disabilities" in the Educational System
I must say that I am impressed with your insight and knowledge. I would encourage you and others to write your elected officials regarding the short-comings of the educational system but more importatnly I would like you to give some thought to what is going to happen to these kids when they grow up. I the grand scheme of thing if you really think abou it K-12 is a joke pretty much. What isn’t a joke is the damage that educators can do to children. this damage along with the attitude will follow them thriugh out their years The only difference is the will have no advocates and the voc rehab system makes school look like paradise.
Most folks don’t have strong advocates like you. I can tell you love your child very much. Good for you!
