My son’s teacher uses alphabetic phonics in her classroom and my son has shown great progress in the year he has been in her classroom. The next school year, his teacher will be using Saxon phonics in her class. I was told they are both basically the same thing. Does anyone have information on Saxon phonics?

I agree. My 8 yo dau comes home withthe Saxon Math every night and I am not impressed….. I’m curious about the Saxon phonics also…..

Someone just posted about Saxon phonics over at the vegsource bb. She said it is an expensive program and **very** monotonous. This is a homeschooling board (Reading & Math).
I have heard good things about alphabet phonics in the past. I wonder why the teacher is switching?
