Has anyone heard of Fibromyalgia and “fibro-fog”?
New diagnosis for “Falling through the Cracks” could explain a lot.
Fibromyalgia is said to interfere with executive function and processing incoming information and responding.???
In adults, they have usually developed these skills by the time they develop this syndrome.
Since my daughter developed this when she was 12 and she is now 20, she certainly could have missed them entirely.
New problem is that I have read that neuropsych testing tools may need to be adjusted for or do not allow for other disabilities …….. chronic pain may score as depressive or psychiatric disorder????
We have just found a specialist who deals with this, who will hopefully be able to answer some questions.
Does this ring a bell for anyone else?
