Going to a community college right now majoring in Human Services A.A.S. Degree Creative Arts in Therapeutic Settings Option which is art and dance therapy. But because of a learning disability that is the best place for me right now. Taking dance classes in ballet, tap at dance studio’s I did before I graduated HS and still clogging with 4-H for one last year.
For the past two summers I have worked at Camp Sacajawea Girl Scout day Camp. 1st year Counselor and assistant to the Program/Arts and Craft Director and this last summer Assistant to the directors, assistant to the Arts and Craft Director. Next summer will probly be the assistant to the director a position made becuase of my surpurb leadership skills.
I will not be able to take any summer cources becauae of this job and it will take me longer to get my A.S.S. degree because I am having to take alot of remedial cources.
It will take me longer then two years to get A.S.S. degree but evently I want to find a college where I transfer to major in Human Services and posibly minnor in dance. Since you realy have to go to graduate school for dance therapy. Any one know of any colleges that offer both? Having a good LD program would also help!
