My daughter is a senior looking to go to college next fall for Hopsitality/Tourism. She has a learning disability (extended time on tests, occasional reader etc.) She is an A/B student but only scored a total of 700 on the SATs for critical reading and math. Most colleges that I have spoken with do not seem to take into account a disability for admission purposes. But state that you can file for accomodations after they are an accepted student. We have looked at numerous colleges so far. Just wanted to know if any has come across this situation and how it was handled. Thanks for any ideas or help.
