Potential Program-Deadline extended!

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

We have received a great deal of response so far, and we are extending the deadline for participation. The survey will be active until July 24th. We are contacting you specifically to invite you to forward this message to anyone who is the parent of a person with a learning disability (ages 15-30), who may want to share their opinions with us.

Vernon Research Group is working with the University of Iowa to investigate the possibility of offering post-secondary education to students with learning disabilities. This program does not currently exist but is under consideration.

We are looking for the parents of people age 15-30 who have a learning disability and who might benefit from a post-secondary education program. The parents can access the survey by clicking on the following Web link, or by copying and pasting the URL into their browser. The survey address is:

The survey will be accessible through July 24. If you have questions about the project, please contact Julee Bormet at Vernon Research Group, 1-888-710-7278, extension 104, or email at [email protected].

Please forward this email to other people who may be interested in participating. We would like to get as many opinions as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation!
