4 track tape player

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Does anyone know where I can get a 4 track tape player? I have a student that has books on tape from RFB&D, and I am told that there are none to be had in my county. Thanks,

Heather

I think if you contact RFB&D that they will be able to provide a payer for you. They used to be free for students who were eligible- but even if they are not- they should be reasonable.

I had a student buy one a couple years ago from RFB&D, I think it was around $100. They are adjustable speed also, but kinda big and bulky, I believe they do have more compact models available (that are easier to take to class, etc.) but a little more expensive. I would think they’d be able to ship it to wherever you are…

Good luck!

Work’s been busy like crazy, (and so was Thanksgiving!) but thank you both for your input. I am trying to get the school board to get a 4-track for my student from RFB&D. They are the same people who are putting his books on tape, anyway. Thank you again,

Heather K.
