She is a good reading, indifferent speller, no real LD. Going through the kid’s seven books seems very daunting to keep up. Could I just put her through the two adult AVKO books? Thanks for any views.

to my post. Now I don’t know if it posted or not, because of the time delay on approving posts. In case it is lost in cyberspace, I will repeat that I think it would be fine to try the adult version of Sequential Spelling with a non-LD 10yo. I don’t think she would have a problem with it but, if she does, you can always revert to the 7-book series until she is old enough. LD teens usually do very well with the adult version.
