If you would like to graphically show food chains, I would recommend Inspiration software. You can download a demonstation copy that is good for 30 days from their website which is inspiration.com. It has all kinds of fascinating possibilities.
I have used one program that I doenloded off the internet—sorry I don’t remember the name. Try searching “food chains”. In the game they must move there creatures so they don’t get eaten or get eaten depending on the population.
