FREE Computers 4 Kidz in-need

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Computers 4 Kidz in a non-profit organization that accepts donated computers and distributes them FREE OF CHARGE to children. With businesses and individuals upgrading every 2-3 years, many very usable computers are ending up in storage closets, or worse yet, landfills! What a business considers “obsolete” is a PERFECT first computer for a child without one. Do you have a computer to donate? Do you know a child in need of a computer?

Yes. I know of a child in need of a computer. Actually two live together, and one of them is in another foster home.

We do not currently have an office in the Chicago area, however, you may go to our website http://computers4kidz.tripod.com and use our Refer A Child page and we will look into the option of shipping a computer to Chicago, or we can provide you with other options. We do not want to deny any child our services, regardless of location.

Thank you for your interest. I look forward to receiving your referral

Do you have computers available for teachers? Ours are old Macs and I was hoping to upgrade to a little new PC? The computer would benefit 3-4 learning disabled students in special ed. middle school.

I live in Tacoma, WA and read about computers 4 kids in my Hilltop block leader newsletter. I have an old computer to donate. The hard drive is dead but the other parts are still good.

We would be happy to pick up your donation, or you can drop it off at our Hilltop location. We may be able to replace the hard drive, or use the other components in another computer. Please email me at [email protected] to make arrangements. Thank you.
