motivating activities for dyslexic child

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I’m working with a young dyslexic boy who is very bright and very much sees himself as able to read books that are too hard for him. I plan on doing a listening activity with such material at the end of our sessions, but I’m curious if any of you have any other ideas—after all the o-g, controlled reading, etc, his mind needs something stimulating!
