Why is it that a lot of students who have difficulties reading or writing run their words together when they write? They don’t put letters of the same word very close together, and leave a very small space between words. I have a couple of students again this year in my 5th grade class who do that.
My daughter’s trouble with that was attributed to a visual processing disorder. She gets OT and it has improved almost to the point that you can’t even tell she ever had trouble.
