Many of my students have difficulty finding books on their reading level that interests them. Our school uses Accelerated Reading, which puts colored stickers on the side of books to show grade level of the books. Many students are embarrassed to have their low color showing in the classroom. I need some ideas. Maybe other collections of books. I have READ 180 books but can’t always let kids check those out because of the expense. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
