Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

I’m looking for information on techniques (with or without computers) that might fall under the category of “retraining the brain”. I would appreciate any information on this.

I think PACE falls into this category. It works to strengthen the cognitive skills that underlie academic skills. The website is http://www.mentalskills.com/. I’ve found it extremely helpful working with my 11 year old ld son. He’s made leaps and bounds of progress in reading, writing and spelling since we started the program 8 weeks ago.: I’m looking for information on techniques (with or without computers)

I would add on Neuronet. www.neuroacoustics.comand perhaps Lindamood Bell because it opens up the whole visualization side of the brain.
