Sequential processing difficulty

Submitted by an LD OnLine user on

Looking for feedback on sequential processing. How do we help a 6 year old with this problem (and add ADHD to it too)????

Practice putting things in order — have cards with three letters of the alphabet (consecutive ones, not spread out) and have him sort them. Call attention to sequences — but *short* ones — through the day. (We’re going to put our coats on, go outside, and get into teh car. Why do we put the coat on first?)

Audiblox is a cognitive skills training program that works on developing sequencing skills (among others). Website is http://www.audiblox2000.com . It would be suitable for a 6yo.
