I teach elementary resource. I just began reading this book and I feel that my students will relate to it. Has anyone done this as a read aloud before? How would it go over with 4th and 5th graders? I feel like they will relate, but I don’t want it to hit too close to home and make them feel bad either. What do you think? Thank you for your awaited responses (:
