I have a group of homeschooled 13-year-olds who have expressed an interest in Spanish, so I need a program for them. I’ve looked into the more immersion-type programs, such as Power-Glide, but I think they will benefit much more from a more traditional rules-based program (or maybe a combination). A textbook title used in public school would be fine — doesn’t need to be a “homeschool” program. Does anyone use a Spanish (or other foreign language textbook or traditional program that works for them — that sustains student interest with clear explanations and with pictures/graphics?
