There is a section on the assessment page of the Word Finding site that lists measures of RAN. The W-J also has a subtest.

Student is a 10 year old male 4th grade. Here are “excerpts” from his evaluation-

spontaneous speech is perserverative with mild articulation problems.

confronation naming significantly below average and remarkable for paraphasic errors.

in addition some profanity was noted, as he repeatedly call a funnel a “f**K” when given the beginning phoneme of the word.

letter fluency was significantly below average and deteriorated as the task continued.

expressive vocab significantly below average, receptive vocab boderline.

attention to visual detail and ability to discriminate essential from nonessential parts of objects was significantly above average.

immediate recall of complex designs was high average, visual recognition memory average, but ability to mimic visual sequences was significantly below average

on the WRAML, of note was performance on the learning portion of this task was in the average range and delayed recall of this material in the bright average range.

on the WIAT he scored a SS of 67 or the 1st pecentile for reading comp., SS 75 basic reading 5th percentile, SS 74 percentile rank of 4 for spelling, written expression SS 91.

child has a significant history of hearing loss with a 60 percent hearing loss for unknown duration proir to surgery which corrected hearing at age 2. He does receive speech services.

From information provided can you recommend any programs to help student be a better reader.
