I actually went back to college to take classes in neurofeedback. I was especially interested in its application to the student who is ADHD. I was fortunate because there is a neurofeedback program at a major university within close proximity to my residence. It is a relatively young field, but does show some success for improving concentration, impulsivity, etc. I did have my son also go through neurofeedback for several months and did see signs of improvement. Unfortunately, you must be careful and check qualifications of the therapist that is educated in neurofeedback. They should have certification from a college. Let me know if you have any other questions that I might be able to answer.
