Anyone go to CHOP's ADHD center?

Haven’t been there but it sounds terrific. Luckily, we have a specialist locally. Otherwise, I would definitely consider driving into the city. They put out a great informative book on adhd in 91. The DSM has since changed but the information is good and they explain their program. It’s a team approach to each patient with many different types of people involved. It sounds good when you read about it. If you want I can look up the book for you. It ‘s out of print but can be purchased for very little used online.

Thanks for the reply! I did take my son there, and while I thought the evaluation was very thorough, there didn’t seem to be a ‘team’ like I thought there would be. It was just one person doing the clinical stuff, and another doing testing. I would recommend it, though. It lasted about 2 hours, because some of his testing was already done.
