Link between APGAR scores & LD?

This is not from a study, per se, but it is a quote from my college textbook called [i]The Exceptional Child[/i]:

“A low score indicates the infant is likely to be at serious developmental risk and in need of immediate and constant attention.”

Of course, this really depends on just how low the score is.
