Having Faith

My disability is obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). When I was in kindergarten, going into first grade, I got diagnosed with these disorders. But to me, it wasn’t a huge life change. I was OK with taking the medication to help me stay calm and focused. When my mother died and my step-mother stepped in, she put me on a new medication that didn’t make me feel well. Then my father left her and married another woman, Amy. He was in love. Amy helped me by taking me off the medication that made me sick so that I could feel better. I also devoted myself to my religion and this has helped me a lot.
