My LD Story

I hate my learning disability because it keeps holding me back. I am the only one in my family who has this learning disability. I don’t like that. Sometimes I just want to cry about it. If I was anybody else, I would not have this disability.

I also have ADHD. I love my ADHD. When I grow up, I want to be a stuntman. I practice for being stuntman. I jump off of everything. I am fast, hyper, ready to do anything someone else is afraid to do.

The place where I can be hyper is in PE. Sometimes Mr. Heath gets mad at me, but Austin and I are the only ones who have ADHD. I use my ADHD a lot of times. My ADHD is the best.

Sometimes people make fun of me because I can’t read. To tell you the truth, I don’t know how to ignore them. I will say something back, and then sometimes it will end up in a fight. My sister is teaching me how to ignore them. So when somebody says something not nice to me, I will try to ignore.

I need help reading. My teacher and my mom are trying to help me read, but it is too hard. Sometimes when I have my video games, I spell the video games with my eyes closed. When I get home, I am going read and that’s a promise.
