My name is Kimberly. What I have, I didn’t know I had until November 2007 when I was 16. My mom told me while I was in the hospital having a shunt surgery that I have a learning disability. She told me that she just never told anyone becaue she didn’t want to put me down as being “different.”
I recently had a conference with my teacher and she got mad at me for being constantly distracted and not caring about my schoolwork. I wanted to cry. I DO CARE! and so she is helping me concentrate better.
