Some Say I Am a Slow Learner

I am in resource and have been for 3 years. When my parents have a meeting the teacher states I am doing GREAT. Then I end up hearing from another person I am slow, but will get to where I should be.
How I feel myself about it is that I am not slow in my learning I am just like all people and that I need to think and study to know how to do all my work right.
Like my parents always say, just be myself and I will make it to college and be a teacher myself someday soon.
We should all keep our chins up and give our work our best,so we will all have good jobs in our adult life.
