A very strange old woman appeared on the path. Her face seemed to outline a lifetime of her many expressions. Deep furrows of wrinkles striped her forehead. Her scent reminded me of my mom’s perfume. Thinking lines radiated out from around her sun darkened skin. The old woman gave me a gold coin and said to my ear in a low voice, “do not show anybody.” She walked away in the thick fog and said, “do not show anybody” and disappeared.
